Auditable Units means branches or units of Auditable entities. Auditable entity means an ministry of shipping, department of ministry of shipping, office, authority, body, company, corporation or any other entity subject to audit by the Comptroller and Auditor General of India.
Ministry/Departments includes Ministry of Shipping, O/o the Directorate General of Shipping, Mumbai; PAO, Andaman Lakshadweep Harbour Works (ALHW); PAO, Directorate General of Lighthouse and Lightships; DG Lighthouse and Lightships.
Central Public Sector Enterprises under Economic and Service Ministries, Shipping, viz. Fertilizer, Urban Development, Textiles in Western Region.
Major Autonomous Bodies(ABs) - Major Port Trusts viz Mumbai Port Trust (Mumbai), Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (Mumbai), Mormugao Port Trust (Goa), Kandla Port Trust (Kandla) and Khadi & Village Industries Commission (Head office and units in Western region) and Securities Exchange Board of India, etc. (Head office and units in Western region).
