About General Provident Fund

The Office of the Accountant General (A&E) – II, Madhya Pradesh is a part of the Audit and Accounts Department and functions under the Comptroller & Auditor General of India. In accordance with the Article 149 of the Constitution of India read with Section 10 of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (Duties, Powers & Conditions of Service) Act 1971, the Accountant General (A&E) II Madhya Pradesh is responsible for maintenance of General/Contributory Provident Fund Accounts of All India Service Officers and all the employees of the State Government of Madhya Pradesh.
