Audit Office of Research, Designs and Standards Organization (RDSO) office, situated at Lucknow, is headed by Senior Audit Officer. RDSO Audit office conducts compliance audit, financial audit and performance/Theme bases audit. RDSO Audit office conducts audit of accounts and records maintained in the executive offices as local audit under the control of Director General (Ex-officio General Manager), RDSO, Lucknow. RDSO Audit Office conducts central audit of salary/wages bills/labour pay sheets, Pension/provident Fund/NPS cases, Sanctions, Medical Attendance bill, Contingent charges, Foreign Service Contribution, Rent rolls, Schools Fee Bills, Passes and PTOs, Tenders and Contracts, Stores Purchase bills etc., Review of court judgment cases/Arbitration awards and various other items as prescribed in Secret Memorandum of Instructions, Revised Audit Norms 2003 and instructions issued by the C&AG office from time to time.
The work of RDSO audit office is divided into different sections like establishment audit, works audit/expenditure audit, appropriation/books audit, Administration/Miscellaneous Audit etc. as per requirement of work. The sections are headed by Assistant Audit Officers who are supported by Senior Auditors/Auditors and other staff members.
