This Manual provides information on the categories of documents and records held by or under the control of the Office. The records are maintained in accordance with the applicable Record Retention Schedule, Government instructions and the provisions of the Right to Information Act, 2005.

3. Preservation of Records

All records are preserved in accordance with the applicable Record Retention Schedule, Government instructions and the provisions of the Right to Information Act, 2005.


4. Access to Records

Access to records is provided in accordance with:

  • The Right to Information Act, 2005.
  • Applicable confidentiality and security provisions.
  • Record Retention Schedule.
  • Instructions issued by the Competent Authority.

5. Review and Updation

The categories of documents are reviewed periodically and updated whenever required in accordance with the applicable rules and instructions.
