Administration: Office of the Director General of Audit (CE) is the Cadre Controller for all the three offices viz. O/o the Director General of Audit (CE), O/o the Director General of Audit (Central Receipt) and O/o the Principal Accountant General (Audit) Delhi and thus, is responsible for inter-office transfer/posting of the staff among the said three offices.

Besides, Administration is divided into two sections:

Administration-I: Deals with Recruitment, Promotion, Posting & Transfer of Group 'B' (Gazetted) Officers, Preparation of Budget estimates, Preparation of Gradation List, Finalisation of Pension cases of staff posted in DGA(HE&SD) office and Right to Information (RTI) matters.

Administration-II Deals with Recruitment, Promotion, Posting & Transfer of Gr. 'B' (non-Gazetted) and Gr. 'C' officials, Govt. Accommodation, CGHS and Cases of Modified Assured Career Progression (MACP) Scheme.
