Audit Management Group-I
The General Sector is headed by a Group Officer and conducts audit of General Administration, Police, Home Guard, Justice, Jail, Election, Finance, Small Saving, Printing and Stationery, etc. of Government of Manipur.
Further, the audit of autonomous bodies like Manipur State Legal Services Authority (MSLSA); Manipur Public Service Commission, State Land Used Board etc. are also conducted by General Sector. In addition to this work, certification of expenditure incurred by Election Department, Agriculture Department, Externally Aided Projects etc. are also conducted by this sector for which audit certificates are issued.
