Notification for amendment to Para 7.12 of Performance Auditing Guidelines.

It has been decided with the approval of the Competent Authority to amend Para 7.12 of Performance Auditing Guidelines 2014. The amended Para 7.12 is as under:

"A revised Report may be prepared after incorporating the responses received from the audited entity to the draft audit report and modifications suggested by Headquarters. If the changes to the audit conclusion and/or recommendations are considered substantial or material necessitating further response from the audited entity, the revised report may be shared with the audited entity or those charged with governance to provide Item an opportunity to respond to the revised audit findings and conclusions. In such cases the concerned AG with the approval of the controlling DAI/ADAI may issue the revised report. A period of two weeks shall be given for providing responses, if any, which shall be incorporated in the final report."
