Principal Director (Audit)
Ms. Vinita Mishra hails from the state of Jharkhand and has completed her schooling from Welham Girls High School, Dehradun. Thereafter she attended the Hindu College, New Delhi and has a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.).
As a career bureaucrat, she has had a varied experience in various sectors, working in the Audit and Account offices at Patna (Bihar), Dehradun (Uttarakhand), Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), Delhi and Chandigarh (Haryana).
Recently, on deputation, she was posted as Municipal Chief Auditor in North Delhi Municipal Corporation, South DMC and East DMC.
On international assignments, she has attended multiple seminars and programmes at Japan, Bhutan and USA, including the GAO-2013 at Washington DC. She has also undertaken international audits of UN Food and Agriculture Organisation – Regional (FAOR) at Ghana, United Nations University at Tokyo and World Health Organisation at Myanmar.
Since December 2021, she has been posted as the Principal Director (Audit) in the India Audit Office, London. Herein, she has been directly involved in the audits of several Missions/Posts, Autonomous bodies, overseas offices of PSUs, etc.
