Commercial Audit Sector
The Economic Sector (commercial) Wing functions under the overall charge of the Principal Accountant General (Audit) and direct Charge of a Sr. Dy. Accountant General (Commercial) / Dy. Accountant General (Commercial) who is assisted by Sr. Audit Officers (SAO), Asstt. Audit Officers (AAO) and other staff. There are 79 State Government Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), which includes 03 working Statutory Corporation, 32 working Government Companies, 44 Non-working Government Companies and 01 Autonomous Bodies viz., “Bihar Electricity Regulatory Commission” (Regulating authority for electricity in Bihar) which comes under the audit purview of this Sector.
