Director (Audit)
Mr. Mehul Grover is an officer of the Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS), belonging to the 2014 batch, currently serving as Director at the Office of the Principal Director of Audit, Washington. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication and has further strengthened his academic profile with a Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Law. He is also presently pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
He brings with him diverse professional experience across Local Bodies, Revenue, Forest, and Defence Audit. Prior to his current assignment, he served as Director (Training and Research) at the International Centre for Environmental Audit and Sustainable Development (iCED), where he managed national and international training programmes in Environmental and Extractive Industries Audit. He has also participated in international engagements, including training at UCLA, Los Angeles, the ASOSAI Seminar on Environmental Auditing, and audit-related assignments with international organizations such as the ILO in Italy and Switzerland. He is a recipient of the CAG’s Award for Public Sector Auditing for his work on the performance audit of degradation of the Kshipra River. His interests include continuous learning in areas such as environmental governance and emerging technologies, as well as meditation.
