Shri Gaurav Rai, is a 2014 batch officer of the IAAS officer and holds degrees in Computer Science, International Relations, and Economics. He has served as Director (Information Systems) and Director (Analytics) at CAG Headquarters, and as Deputy Accountant General in field offices in West Bengal and Bhopal. He has undertaken several international assignments, including the audit of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), The Hague, and has represented SAI India as a member of INTOSAI working groups. He assumed charge as Director, Indian Audit Office, Kuala Lumpur, in August 2025.
