Mess Committee

This Committee is responsible for running the Officers' Mess at 'Yarrows'. The activities of the Committee include deciding the menu every week, organizing formal/informal parties, managing the expenditure and properly maintaining the accounts of the same. No wonder that this Committee is conventionally considered to be the primus inter pares. The Committee consists of the President, the Secretary and the Treasurer. The 'President, Mess Committee', is better known as the 'PMC of the Batch'. She/he is also the nodal officer of the Batch for all practical purposes.

From acting as the spokesperson of the Batch to being the one-point reference for Director General and Directors of NAAA in any matter relating to the Batch, the PMC is at the heart of it all!

Besides the above, the OTs will have to perform the supervisory duty of hostels' rooms, academy premises and watch and ward points as per the checklist. The OTs will also have to perform escort duties time to time for the visiting dignitaries and guest faculties. The detailed guidelines for performing the escort duty have been given in the academy handbook.
